Welcome to the London City Airport Air Quality Measurement Programme website. Since 2006, London City Airport has operated a comprehensive air quality monitoring network in the surrounding area. This network currently comprises three automatic monitoring stations and 16 passive monitoring stations.
This website describes where air quality is measured, and provides real-time information on air quality levels at the three automatic sites. It also allows users to calculate statistics, prepare graphs of recent air quality levels, and access historic data. You can view up-to-date information for the three automatic sites using the site selector menu above.
Data from the passive (diffusion tube) monitoring stations can be found in the annual performance reports, which are available for download from London City Airport's annual performance reporting page. Further information on Air Quality at London City Airport can be found on London City Airport's air quality page. Additional information and other monitoring undertaken by the London Borough of Newham can be accessed here.
The locations of the London City Airport automatic sites are shown below. Information on each site can be accessed by clicking on each map marker.
